Death Toll from Israel’s Starvation Siege in Gaza Climbs to 281

Gaza Herald- The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that eight Palestinians, two of them children, died of malnutrition in Gaza in the last 24 hours.

So far, 281 people, including 114 children, have perished as a result of the starvation crisis imposed by Israel on the besieged enclave.

Humanitarian organizations have condemned the ongoing blockade and the deprivation of food and medical supplies, warning that Gaza is facing a catastrophic famine. The United Nations and multiple aid groups have repeatedly called for urgent international intervention, emphasizing that the continued siege is driving the civilian population to the brink of disaster.

The humanitarian disaster continues to escalate, driven by the blockade and deliberate deprivation of food and medical supplies since March 2. The famine is compounded by the genocidal assault Israel has been carrying out on Gaza since October 7, 2023.
