Gaza Herald – Israeli forces continued violating Gaza’s fragile ceasefire for the 321st consecutive day on Wednesday, with artillery fire and heavy gunfire targeting areas across the besieged Strip, including places sheltering displaced Palestinians.
In Rafah, Israeli forces opened fire toward displacement tents in the Mawasi area, with bullets reaching the densely populated Fash Farsh intersection. Israeli artillery also struck western Rafah, while flares were fired south of Khan Younis.
Heavy Israeli gunfire targeted areas east of Hamad City, north of Khan Younis, injuring at least one Palestinian. Israeli tanks also fired heavily toward eastern areas of Gaza City.
The latest attacks followed another deadly day in Gaza, where eight Palestinians were killed and others injured in separate Israeli strikes across the Strip.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, 1,288 Palestinians have been killed and 4,290 injured since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, while the bodies of 813 victims have been recovered.
The ministry’s cumulative toll since October 7, 2023, stands at 73,422 Palestinians killed and 174,401 injured, with many victims still trapped beneath the rubble.
Despite the ceasefire, Israeli forces continue to carry out artillery attacks, gunfire and demolitions across Gaza, leaving displaced Palestinians exposed to continued attack even as they remain confined to areas already devastated by the genocide.
