Israel Continues Killing Gaza’s Children, Targeting Civilian Life Amid Global Silence

Gaza Herald – Gaza’s Government Media Office has condemned continued Israeli attacks on Palestinian civilians, children, homes and places of worship despite the ceasefire, accusing the international community of failing to take meaningful action.

The office said more than 21,500 Palestinian children have been killed in Gaza since the start of Israel’s genocide, while 1,244 of the Strip’s 1,275 mosques have been damaged or destroyed, including 1,077 that were destroyed.

The statement said Israeli forces continue to strike inhabited homes and civilian areas despite the ceasefire, calling on mediators to exert immediate and effective pressure to enforce the agreement and halt the violations.

The office also called for urgent measures to protect Palestinian civilians and end the ongoing genocide in Gaza, including attacks on children, homes, civilian infrastructure and places of worship.

The statement followed a wave of Israeli bombardment across Gaza on Monday that killed at least eight Palestinians, including children, according to hospital sources. Rescue and civil defense teams continued searching targeted areas for survivors and recovering victims amid the destruction.
