Israeli artillery fire wounds Palestinians as Gaza ceasefire violations continue

Gaza Herald – Israeli occupation forces continued violating the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip for the 317th consecutive day, opening fire and carrying out artillery shelling across several areas of the territory, wounding a number of Palestinians.

A woman was wounded by Israeli occupation forces near Al-Da’wa Street, northeast of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

Israeli forces also shelled areas northeast of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, amid continued gunfire and artillery attacks across several parts of the Strip.

In Khan Younis in southern Gaza, Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire on southern areas of the city, while artillery shelling struck areas southwest of Khan Younis.

Israeli artillery shells also struck a home belonging to the Abdel Jawad and Safi families in the Al-Amal neighborhood, west of Khan Younis.

Israeli occupation forces fired illumination flares over the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis, as well as over southern areas of the city.

Israeli artillery shelling also targeted areas east of Gaza City, marking another violation of the ceasefire agreement.

A Palestinian was killed by Israeli occupation forces in Khan Younis on Friday evening amid continued Israeli violations of the ceasefire.

The body of 29-year-old Ibrahim Mohammed Kawara was brought to Nasser Medical Complex after he was shot by Israeli occupation forces in the Qizan al-Najjar area, south of Khan Younis, according to a local source.

Since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, Israeli attacks have killed 1,283 Palestinians and wounded 4,248 others, while the bodies of 813 victims have been recovered, according to official figures released by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

The cumulative toll since the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip began on October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,417 Palestinians killed and 174,360 wounded, according to the latest figures from the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
