Israeli Forces Renew Attacks Across Gaza in Continued Ceasefire Violations

Gaza Herald – Israeli forces continued violating the Gaza ceasefire on Tuesday, carrying out detonations and opening fire in several areas across the besieged Strip, further threatening Palestinian civilians living amid widespread destruction and displacement.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces carried out detonations southeast of Khan Younis and opened heavy fire northeast of the city. Gunfire struck Palestinian homes and displacement tents in Hamam City and surrounding areas, as well as in the city’s central district.

Israeli military vehicles also opened fire near Wadi Gaza and along Salah al-Din Street, north of Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

The latest attacks come as Israel continues military activity across Gaza despite the ceasefire, with Palestinians remaining exposed to gunfire, shelling and demolition operations in and around areas where they have sought shelter.

According to the latest Palestinian Ministry of Health figures, 1,262 Palestinians have been killed and 4,168 injured since the ceasefire began on October 10, 2025, while the bodies of 808 Palestinians have been recovered.

Since Israel launched its genocide on Gaza on October 7, 2023, the Palestinian death toll has reached 73,391, with 174,280 others injured, according to the ministry.

For Palestinians in Gaza, the continued attacks mean that the ceasefire has yet to bring lasting safety, as families remain displaced and vulnerable to renewed Israeli military attacks across the Strip.
