Gaza Herald – Israeli forces continued violating the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip for the 295th consecutive day, carrying out artillery and air attacks, opening fire on multiple areas, and detonating residential homes and Palestinians’ structures across the enclave, according to local sources.
A large detonation operation was reported in northern Gaza, while a powerful explosion was heard in the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City. Israeli military bulldozers also continued demolition and excavation operations in the Housh Abu Hussein and Al-Tawabin areas of the Shujaiya neighborhood.
Israeli military vehicles opened fire southeast of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, while heavy gunfire was reported northeast and east of Khan Younis. Several rounds struck tents sheltering displaced Palestinian families near Al-Namsawi area west of the city, raising fears among residents already living in precarious conditions.
The continued attacks come despite the ceasefire agreement, with shelling, detonations and attacks persisting across different parts of Gaza, further deepening the humanitarian crisis and disrupting civilian life.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, six Palestinians were killed and 34 others wounded over the previous 24 hours. The toll included four newly killed victims, one Palestinian who succumbed to earlier injuries, and one body recovered from beneath the rubble.
The ministry said many victims remain trapped under destroyed buildings or in areas inaccessible to rescue teams because of ongoing Israeli attacks. Since the ceasefire came into effect in October 2025, the ministry reports that 1,214 Palestinians have been killed and 3,977 injured, in addition to 804 bodies recovered from the rubble.
The ministry added that the overall death toll since the start of the Israeli genocide in October 2023 has risen to 73,341 Palestinians killed and 174,086 injured, with rescue operations continuing under severe operational constraints.
