Gaza Herald – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Wednesday that 12 Palestinians were killed and 12 others injured over the past 24 hours as Israeli attacks across the Strip continue.
The ministry said that a number of victims remain trapped beneath the rubble and lying in the streets, where ambulance and civil defense crews have been unable to reach them due to ongoing security risks and severe shortages of equipment, warning that the actual death toll is likely higher.
According to the ministry, the number of Palestinians killed since the October 10 ceasefire has risen to 1,180, while 3,810 people have been injured. An additional 802 bodies have been recovered from beneath the rubble, highlighting the scale of destruction across Gaza.
Since the beginning of the Israeli genocide on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, the cumulative death toll has reached 73,305 Palestinians, with 173,918 others injured, according to the Ministry of Health, amid continued warnings of a worsening humanitarian and healthcare crisis.
