Gaza Death Toll Rises to 73,074 After 1,000 Days of Genocide, Health Ministry Says

Gaza Herald – Gaza’s Health Ministry said Thursday that the death toll from the Israeli genocide has risen to 73,074 Palestinians after 1,000 days of war since October 7, 2023.

According to the ministry’s daily update, four Palestinians were killed and 12 others were wounded over the past 24 hours as a result of continued Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip. It added that many victims remain trapped beneath the rubble or in inaccessible areas where ambulance and civil defense teams have been unable to reach them.

The ministry also reported that since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, a total of 1,059 Palestinians have been killed and 3,429 injured in incidents of ceasefire violations. An additional 788 bodies have been recovered from beneath the rubble during the same period.

Israeli attacks have continued despite the ceasefire agreement, with near-daily airstrikes, shelling, and other military actions reported across different parts of the Gaza Strip.
