Gaza Herald – A Palestinian man succumbed on Thursday to his wounds sustained in an earlier Israeli attack, as Israeli occupation forces continued to report ceasefire violations across the Gaza Strip through shelling, demolitions, and gunfire.
Local sources identified the victim as Hisham Khaled Hamad, a resident of Rafah in southern Gaza, who succumbed to injuries he sustained approximately one year ago.
Israeli artillery also shelled several areas across the enclave, including Al-Tuffah neighborhood and the vicinity of Al-Sanafour Junction in eastern Gaza City, as well as northern and eastern parts of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
In southern Gaza, Israeli occupation forces reportedly carried out detonation operations east of Khan Younis.
According to Palestinian authorities, Israeli occupation forces have continued to violate the ceasefire agreement that took effect on October 10, 2025, through repeated air and artillery strikes, demolition operations within the so-called “Yellow Line”, and ongoing restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and civilian travel.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health previously reported that 1,045 Palestinians have been killed and 3,380 injured since the ceasefire began, in addition to 786 bodies recovered from areas previously inaccessible.
Since the start of the genocide on October 7, 2023, the ministry says the cumulative death toll in Gaza has reached 73,058, with 173,488 Palestinians injured.
