Gaza Herald – The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that eight Palestinians were killed and 26 others injured across the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours as Israeli attacks continued despite the ceasefire agreement.
In a statement, the ministry said ambulance and civil defense crews continue to face severe difficulties reaching victims trapped under rubble or in targeted areas due to ongoing bombardment and dangerous field conditions. It warned that the death toll is likely to rise as search and recovery operations continue.
According to the ministry, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, has risen to 1,053, while 3,406 people have been injured. The ministry also reported that 786 bodies have been recovered from areas previously inaccessible during the same period.
Since the start of Israel’s genocide on October 7, 2023, the cumulative death toll in Gaza has reached 73,066 Palestinians, with 173,514 others injured, according to the ministry.
Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire through airstrikes, artillery shelling, home demolitions within the so-called “Yellow Line” buffer zone, and restrictions on the entry of humanitarian aid, commercial goods, and the movement of patients requiring medical treatment outside Gaza.
