Ceasefire Violations Continue in Gaza: Three Injured in Multiple Drone Strikes Across the Strip

Gaza Herald – Israeli occupation forces continued, for the 245th consecutive day, to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, which came into effect in October 2025 following more than two years of war that left widespread destruction across the territory.

Medical sources reported that a woman with serious injuries was admitted to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City after being shot by an Israeli drone in Al-Salatin area of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza. The sources confirmed that the incident occurred in a residential area, and the injured woman was transferred urgently for treatment amid ongoing emergency conditions in medical facilities.

Separately, two additional injuries arrived at Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City following an explosion caused by a drone near Kashko Street in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of the city. The explosion resulted in moderate injuries, with no further details immediately available regarding the circumstances of the strike.

Local sources also reported renewed violations of the ceasefire since dawn, particularly in Khan Younis in southern Gaza, where Israeli occupation forces carried out artillery shelling and heavy gunfire targeting eastern areas of the city.

In addition, Israeli naval forces opened fire on fishing boats off the coast of Khan Younis, further restricting civilian movement and targeting livelihoods dependent on fishing.

Military vehicles also reportedly fired toward eastern Khan Younis during the early hours of the morning, accompanied by intermittent artillery shelling, creating a state of tension among residents living near the targeted areas.

On Wednesday, Khan Younis witnessed six additional ceasefire violations, resulting in several civilian injuries, including one fatality later confirmed after a wounded victim succumbed to injuries sustained in a previous strike.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the total number of deaths resulting from ceasefire violations since 11 October 2025 has risen to 981, with 3,104 injuries recorded.

The ministry further stated that the cumulative death toll since the start of the genocide on 7 October 2023 has reached 72,991, with 173,212 wounded, amid a severe deterioration in humanitarian conditions and a critical shortage of medical and relief supplies.

Despite a ceasefire agreement brokered in Sharm el-Sheikh on 10 October 2025 through Arab and American mediation, which stipulated a halt to military attacks and the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, repeated violations have continued, undermining stabilization efforts and deepening the humanitarian crisis faced by civilians across the Strip.
