Israeli Forces Violate Gaza Truce Amid Engineered Famine Warnings

Gaza Herald — Israeli occupation forces launched fresh military strikes across the Gaza Strip, violating the October 10 ceasefire agreement as health authorities reported three more Palestinian deaths and 11 injuries over the past 24 hours.

The latest fatalities bring the total death toll since the nominal truce took effect to 1,568, with 5,649 injured, alongside 845 bodies recovered from under the rubble. Official data from Gaza’s Ministry of Health confirms that Israel’s ongoing genocidal war has slaughtered at least 74,564 Palestinians and wounded 175,770 others since October 7, 2023, with thousands remaining trapped beneath destroyed infrastructure beyond the reach of rescue crews.

Systematic Military Assaults and Target-Driven Assassinations Across the Enclave

Over the past two days, Israeli military forces escalated direct attacks against Palestinian civilians across multiple sectors of the enclave. In Gaza City, an Israeli quadcopter drone targeted civilians northeast of the city, wounding a five-year-old girl, while naval warships heavily bombarded the coastline alongside intermittent artillery shelling east of the “Yellow Line.”

Israeli forces also shelled eastern Deir al-Balah, fired heavy-caliber rounds into Khan Younis, and injured a father and his young daughter in southern Gaza. Concurrently, Israeli army spokesperson Ella Waweya announced targeted aerial assassinations in southern and northern Gaza that killed three Palestinian resistance fighters, including Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed Baraka, Omar Awadallah, and Moataz Mahmoud Mohammed al-Nimr, threatening that targeted aerial strikes will continue despite truce stipulations.

Research Center Exposes Engineered Famine and Siege-Driven Catastrophe

A new research paper published by the Arouba Center for Research and Strategic Thinking warns that Israel’s deliberate tightening of the blockade constitutes an engineered strategy designed to eliminate baseline human survival.

By arbitrarily restricting essential goods, expanding prohibited items under “dual-use” pretexts, such as electrical generators, spare parts, and prosthetic limbs, and manipulating delivery schedules, Israeli authorities prevent municipal bakeries, hospitals, and commercial markets from maintaining stable operations.

The paper warns that these measures, combined with ongoing restrictions on medical evacuations for over 20,000 critical patients, form part of a genocidal pattern aimed at manufacturing an unlivable reality that coercively forces the displacement of the Palestinian population.

UN Warns of Expanding Yellow Line and Forced Displacement of Civilians

Humanitarian monitors from the United Nations confirmed that Israeli occupation forces are aggressively pushing yellow concrete barriers westward into populated neighborhoods, effectively expanding militarized zones inside Shujaiya and Deir al-Balah. Recent field assessments documented Israeli military drones dropping incendiary devices onto displacement tents near Shujaiya, igniting massive fires that forcibly displaced over 200 families into the open.

UN officials also reported direct gunfire hitting a UN site in Deir al-Balah, three separate shooting incidents near UN-run schools, and attacks near humanitarian convoys. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) reiterated that the systematic destruction of civilian infrastructure and shrinking displacement zones threaten to transform temporary uprooting into permanent geographic displacement.
