Gaza Herald – A Wafa News Agency correspondent reported that five citizens were injured, some in critical condition, following an Israeli drone strike in the Sheikh Radwan district of northern Gaza City. The correspondent noted on Friday that occupation forces continued shelling, firing, and house demolitions in various areas of the Gaza Strip.
Operations involving demolition were carried out in the northern sector, where forces detonated a booby-trapped robot loaded with tons of explosives to destroy remaining homes east of Gaza City. In the Shuja’iyya district, two such robots were detonated by occupation troops.
Occupation vehicles fired weapons east of the Tuffah neighborhood, while artillery targeted eastern areas of Gaza City. The vibrations from these explosive demolitions east of the city caused part of a home to collapse in Sheikh Radwan. Meanwhile, in the central sector, occupation machinery fired heavily north of the Al-Bureij refugee camp.
In the southern sector, Israeli naval vessels fired several shells into the sea off Rafah City. Helicopter gunships targeted western areas of the city, while tanks fired at displaced persons’ tents in Mawasi, Rafah. In Khan Younis, tanks fired heavily east of the city, and artillery struck southern districts.
This report was produced in the Gaza Herald newsroom.
