Gaza Herald – A Palestinian man has died from injuries sustained in an earlier Israeli airstrike, as heavy shelling and gunfire continued across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip.
Qusay Maamar Halas died on Saturday from wounds he sustained weeks earlier in an Israeli strike on Gaza City.
Several civilians, including a young girl, were injured in an Israeli drone attack near the Regional Intersection in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis. The attack came as Israeli helicopter gunships opened fire east of Khan Younis.
Israeli artillery also shelled eastern neighborhoods of Khan Younis, while military vehicles opened heavy fire toward displacement tents in Al-Mawasi, Rafah, and south of Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis. Witnesses reported renewed gunfire targeting the camps, while helicopters also attacked areas west of Rafah.
In northern Khan Younis, armored units struck the vicinity of Hamad City amid intense exchanges of fire. Meanwhile, Israeli tanks in northern Gaza opened heavy fire toward the Al-Salatin and Al-Atatra areas west of Beit Lahiya.
Israeli naval vessels also opened fire off the coast of Gaza City.
According to Palestinian figures, Israeli forces have repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement, with 1,408 Palestinians killed and 4,916 others injured since it took effect.
