Gaza Herald – Israeli military forces shot and wounded two women and two children in separate incidents across the Gaza Strip on Sunday evening. The attacks occurred as violations of the ceasefire agreement reached last October continued to be reported by local observers.
According to a correspondent for the source agency, a woman sustained serious injuries after being fired upon near the town of Jabalia in northern Gaza. The incident took place in the vicinity of the residential area during the evening hours.
In a separate event in southern Gaza, another woman was hit by gunfire in the Qizhan Rashwan area located south of Khan Younis city. The shooting targeted civilians in that specific locality without prior warning.
A young girl was also struck by a bullet in the thigh while in the Al-Ghbari area west of Halawa Camp in Jabalia. Medical sources indicated she required immediate attention for the wound.
Earlier in the day, the same correspondent confirmed that a child had been injured by fire from an Israeli unmanned aerial vehicle east of Al-Bureij Camp in the central part of the strip. The drone strike caused casualties among the civilian population.
Additionally, Israeli naval vessels opened fire toward fishermen operating in the waters off the Zahraa beach area in the center of the sector. This action restricted fishing activities and endangered maritime workers.
The Gaza Ministry of Health stated on Sunday that three people were killed and 21 others were newly injured in hospitals over the past twenty-four hours. These figures reflect the ongoing toll of the conflict on the local healthcare system.
Since the signing of the truce deal in October, the total number of fatalities due to Israeli aggression has reached 1,393. Furthermore, the injury count stands at 4,822 individuals requiring medical treatment or rehabilitation.
