Gaza Herald – Israeli forces continued violating the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, carrying out repeated gunfire and artillery attacks that wounded Palestinians and struck areas where displaced families are sheltering.
A Palestinian was wounded by Israeli gunfire east of Hamad City, northwest of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, according to a medical source. Local reporters said the area has been repeatedly subjected to intense Israeli fire from military vehicles positioned east of the so-called Yellow Line.
Israeli military vehicles also opened heavy fire toward the cemetery area west of Khan Younis, with gunfire reaching nearby tents housing displaced Palestinians.
Israeli attack helicopters separately fired intensively east of Khan Younis, with helicopter fire resuming in the same area later in the day.
In central Gaza, Israeli artillery shelled an area northwest of Bureij refugee camp, while Israeli military vehicles maintained sustained and heavy gunfire east of Al-Dawa neighborhood, northeast of Nuseirat refugee camp.
The latest attacks came a day after four Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire across Gaza, underscoring the continuing danger facing civilians despite the ceasefire.
According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, 1,338 Palestinians have been killed and 4,429 wounded since the ceasefire began on October 10, 2025, while rescue teams have recovered 815 bodies.
The ministry said the overall Palestinian death toll from Israel’s genocide on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has reached 73,474, with 174,540 Palestinians wounded.
The continued attacks have left Palestinians across Gaza facing renewed attacks despite the ceasefire, while displaced families remain exposed in fragile tents and shelters amid widespread destruction and a deepening humanitarian crisis.
