Gaza Herald— One Palestinian was killed and several others were injured Sunday in renewed Israeli attacks on Khan Younis and other areas of the Gaza Strip, amid growing violations of the ceasefire agreement.
A local source reported that Mohammed Shafai Nasr al-Din was killed in an Israeli strike on the al-Amal neighborhood, west of Khan Younis.
A Palestinian girl was also injured by Israeli gunfire in Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, while a young Palestinian man was shot and injured in the al-Tawam area, northwest of Gaza City.
Israeli artillery shelled areas east of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza and northwest of Rafah in the south. Israeli military vehicles also opened fire east of al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
Israeli forces also carried out a demolition operation in northern Gaza.
On Saturday, four Palestinians were killed and others injured in Israeli airstrikes and attacks across different parts of the Gaza Strip.
Israeli forces continue to violate the Gaza ceasefire agreement through airstrikes and artillery shelling, including attacks near areas sheltering displaced Palestinians, as well as demolition and destruction operations inside the so-called Yellow Line.
Israel also continues to impose restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid and Palestinians seeking to travel.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 1,315 Palestinians have been killed and 4,361 injured since the ceasefire took effect on Oct. 10, 2025. The ministry has also recorded the recovery of 815 bodies during the same period.
The overall toll from the Israeli assault on Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, has reached approximately 73,449 Palestinians killed and 174,472 injured, reflecting the devastating human toll of Israel’s continuing attacks on the territory.
