Gaza Herald – Israeli forces continued to violate the Gaza ceasefire on Friday, wounding three Palestinians in Khan Younis, including one critically, and launching artillery fire and live ammunition across northern and eastern Gaza, in another brutal episode in Israel’s ongoing genocide against Palestinians in the besieged Strip. The attacks came despite the ceasefire agreement reached in October 2025 under Arab and U.S. mediation.
In southern Gaza, two Palestinians were shot by Israeli forces in the Batn al-Sameen area of Khan Younis, with one suffering critical injuries. A third Palestinian was wounded near the telecommunications company around Abu Hamid Roundabout in the eastern part of the city, according to local sources.
The incidents add to a continuing pattern of Israeli gunfire against Palestinians living under siege, displacement, and the constant threat of renewed military attacks.
Across northern Gaza, Israeli artillery struck eastern areas of Jabalia al-Balad and Al-Tuffah neighborhood north of Gaza City. Israeli military vehicles also opened fire toward northwestern Beit Lahia, while artillery fire hit areas east of Gaza City.
Local sources also reported that an Israeli special force advanced into Al-Jawani area of Beit Lahia around midnight under heavy fire, while surveillance aircraft intensified their presence over the area. Such incursions and bombardments have continued despite the ceasefire, reflecting a sustained campaign of violations rather than a genuine cessation of hostilities.
