Gaza Herald- Two Palestinians were killed and others injured in Israeli airstrikes on Thursday, as Israeli forces renewed violations of the ceasefire and continued airstrikes and gunfire across various areas of the Gaza Strip.
A local source reported that one Palestinian was killed and others injured when an Israeli drone struck a civilian vehicle south of the Sheikh Ajlin neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.
Another local source reported that Hudhaifa Kawara was killed Thursday afternoon in an Israeli attack in the al-Amal neighborhood of Khan Younis.
Israeli forces intensified artillery shelling northwest of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, alongside demolition operations, artillery fire and heavy gunfire from Israeli tanks east of the town, according to a local source.
Israeli artillery also shelled the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City, accompanied by gunfire from Israeli military vehicles.
Israeli military vehicles stationed east of Khan Younis opened fire westward, while a tank advanced along al-Tina Street south of the city. Israeli forces also fired directly toward tents housing displaced Palestinians in the al-Iqlimi and Bir 19 areas of al-Mawasi, Khan Younis.
Israeli artillery also shelled areas north of the Bureij refugee camp.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, 1,259 Palestinians have been killed and 4,148 injured since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, while 808 bodies have been recovered.
The overall toll since the beginning of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023, has reached 73,388 Palestinians killed and 174,259 injured.
