Gaza Herald – Israeli forces continued violating the ceasefire across the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, carrying out airstrikes, ground incursions, and large-scale detonations in eastern Gaza.
Local sources reported that one Palestinian was critically injured after an Israeli drone strike targeted an area west of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza early Wednesday.
Israeli forces also advanced into Al-Sikka Street, southeast of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, while additional military vehicles pushed into areas east of Dawla Junction in Gaza City under heavy aerial cover and intense gunfire.
Witnesses reported massive detonations carried out by Israeli forces in eastern Gaza, while stun munitions exploded over the southeastern parts of Gaza City.
In southern Gaza, Israeli forces fired illumination flares southeast of Khan Younis as heavy gunfire targeted areas east of Al-Qarara. Additional demolition operations were also reported south of Khan Younis.
Israel has continued to breach the October 2025 ceasefire through daily airstrikes, artillery shelling, military incursions, and demolitions inside the so-called “Yellow Line,” while maintaining restrictions on the movement of people, humanitarian aid, and commercial goods.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, 1,168 Palestinians have been killed and 3,798 injured since the ceasefire took effect, with 802 bodies recovered from beneath the rubble.
Since the beginning of the Israeli genocide on Gaza on October 7, 2023, the death toll has risen to 73,293 Palestinians, while 173,906 Palestinians have been injured, according to the ministry.
