Gaza Herald – Three Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Saturday evening in renewed Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip as ceasefire violations continued.
Local sources said Mohammed Najeeb Ashour was killed and several civilians were injured when an Israeli drone targeted a group of Palestinians near the Asqoula Junction in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City. Separately, the bodies of two Palestinians killed in an Israeli strike on Thursday were recovered from Al-Shaima area, north of Beit Lahia.
Israeli forces also carried out detonations targeting buildings in the eastern and northeastern areas of Khan Younis, while aircraft flew at low altitude over the city. In southern Gaza, Israeli artillery shelled northwestern Rafah and fired illumination flares over the city’s western areas.
In Gaza City, Israeli tanks opened heavy fire toward the Al-Tuffah neighborhood as artillery shelled eastern parts of the city.
According to Gaza health authorities, the death toll since the ceasefire took effect has risen to 1,059 Palestinians killed, with 3,429 injured and 788 bodies recovered. Since the start of the Israeli genocide on October 7, 2023, the overall toll has reached 73,074 killed and 173,537 injured.
