Gaza Under Fire Again as Israeli Ceasefire Violations Continue Unabated

Gaza Herald – Israeli occupation forces continued violating the Gaza ceasefire agreement on Monday through artillery shelling and live fire targeting multiple areas across the eastern Gaza Strip.

According to local sources, Israeli artillery struck eastern and southern areas of Khan Younis in southern Gaza early Monday morning, while Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire toward neighborhoods east and south of the city.

Israeli naval boats also fired toward the coast of Rafah in southern Gaza, amid ongoing military escalation despite the truce agreement.

The latest attacks come a day after six Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in separate Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip. Two additional Palestinians also succumbed to their injuries that they sustained in previous bombardments.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire took effect on 10 October 2025 has risen to 878, in addition to 2,562 injuries and 776 recovered bodies.

The ministry added that the overall death toll from Israel’s war on Gaza since 7 October 2023 has reached 72,770 Palestinians, with 172,664 others injured, according to official figures.
