Gaza Herald- Six Palestinians were killed at dawn on Saturday following an Israeli airstrike targeting Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, marking another deadly incident amid ongoing tensions
Local reports indicate that the strike hit a security point near a pharmacy in Block Nine of the camp, resulting in at least six victims and several injuries. The victims were identified as Ali Sami Al-Shaqra, Mohammed Sayed Abu Watan, Musa Saleh, Salim Al-Maghari, Mohammed Ibrahim Abdul Majid Al-Maqous, and Mohammed Ali Al-Mabhouh Abu Al-Hassan.
In a separate attack, an Israeli drone dropped an explosive device on a tent housing displaced families in the western Al-Raqab area of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis, injuring three individuals.
Simultaneously, Israeli naval forces opened fire off the coast of Khan Younis. At the same time, tanks conducted heavy gunfire targeting central and eastern parts of the city, reflecting a broader pattern of military activity across southern Gaza.
In northern Gaza, artillery shelling struck the Al-Nadi area in Beit Lahia during early morning hours. Israeli forces also destroyed civilian infrastructure east of Gaza City while continuing live fire operations in both eastern and northern areas.
Additional shelling was reported in the eastern Al-Tuffah neighborhood, indicating a widening scope of military operations.
These incidents come despite an existing ceasefire agreement that has been repeatedly violated through ongoing airstrikes and artillery attacks. Since the ceasefire took effect, hundreds of casualties have been recorded.
The Gaza Ministry of Health reports that victims since the ceasefire have reached hundreds, with thousands injured, alongside continued recovery of victims from beneath the rubble.
Cumulatively, since the beginning of the war, the death toll has surged dramatically, with tens of thousands killed and a significantly higher number injured, underscoring the scale of the humanitarian crisis.
