4 Killed in Israeli Strike Targeting Police Vehicle in Nuseirat

Gaza Herald- Four Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Sunday afternoon, the third day of Eid al-Fitr, after an Israeli airstrike targeted a police vehicle in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

According to local sources, an Israeli drone struck a police vehicle at the “Abu Srar” roundabout inside the camp, resulting in four victims and multiple injuries. The wounded were transferred to Al-Awda Hospital for treatment.

In a brief statement, the Ministry of Interior and National Security confirmed that Israeli forces targeted the police vehicle while it was on duty in the central governorate, leading to casualties.

Three of the victims were identified as Ali Abu Rabee, Ahmed Hamdan, and Osama Tabasha, while the identity of the fourth victim has not yet been known.

The strike comes less than a week after a similar attack targeted a police vehicle in the Zawayda area in central Gaza, which killed nine people and injured others.

Israeli forces continue to violate the ceasefire in Gaza through artillery shelling, drone strikes, and live fire across multiple areas, further worsening the humanitarian situation in the Strip.
