Palestinian Killed by Israeli Fire in Khan Younis

Gaza Herald – A Palestinian was killed Tuesday by Israeli occupation forces in eastern Khan Younis, amid ongoing violations of the Gaza ceasefire for the 143rd consecutive day, including airstrikes and artillery shelling across the Strip.

A local source reported that the victim was pronounced dead at Nasser Medical Complex after being shot by Israeli forces in Al-Satar al-Sharqi area of Khan Younis.

Since the ceasefire took effect, Israeli attacks have killed 662 Palestinians and injured approximately 1,698 others.

The agreement had been reached after two years of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, launched on October 8, 2023, with U.S. support, which left more than 72,000 Palestinians killed, over 171,000 injured, and nearly 90% of the territory’s civilian infrastructure destroyed.
