Gaza Herald – Gaza’s Health Ministry announced today that nine Palestinians were brought to hospitals across the enclave over the past 24 hours, including six bodies recovered from beneath the rubble of previously targeted areas. Four others were reported injured during the same period.
In its daily casualty update, the ministry stated that ambulance and civil defense crews continue to search for victims trapped under collapsed buildings and stranded in streets, as difficult field conditions hamper rescue efforts.
The latest figures bring the post-ceasefire toll to 618 killed and 1,663 wounded since the truce was declared on October 11. Authorities have also recorded 732 body recovery cases from different parts of the Strip, highlighting the continued discovery of remains in areas struck earlier in the genocide.
Since the outbreak of hostilities on October 7, 2023, the cumulative death toll in Gaza has risen to 72,082, with 171,761 people injured, according to the ministry’s data.
