Gaza Herald — Israeli forces have continued to violate the fragile ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip since the early hours of Tuesday, carrying out airstrikes, artillery shelling, and demolition operations across multiple areas of the enclave, despite the truce having come into effect on October 10, 2025.
Local medical and field sources confirmed the killing of Abeer Hamdan, who was struck by fire from an Israeli drone near the al-Masdar area in central Gaza.
Medical staff at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported that two Palestinians were killed when Israeli forces targeted an electric motorcycle near the entrance of al-Masdar village along Salah al-Din Street in central Gaza.
In southern Gaza, Yusuf Nasser al-Rifi was shot and killed by Israeli forces on Street 5 in Khan Younis. Palestinian Red Crescent teams transported al-Rifi, who later succumbed to his injuries, along with four wounded individuals. His body was transferred first to Al-Amal Hospital and later to Nasser Hospital.
Residents reported intense Israeli helicopter fire over the city of Rafah in southern Gaza, alongside low-altitude flights by Israeli warplanes. Before midday on Tuesday, Israeli aircraft carried out five airstrikes on Rafah.
In Gaza City, two Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire near al-Shawa fuel station east of the city. Additional injuries were reported following Israeli artillery shelling targeting Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.
Israeli warplanes also launched multiple airstrikes on areas east of al-Bureij refugee camp and east of al-Maghazi camp in central Gaza, coinciding with heavy aerial activity across the Strip.
Artillery shelling resumed in eastern Khan Younis, while Israeli forces carried out demolitions of residential buildings east of Jabalia refugee camp and targeted northern areas of Beit Lahia. Local sources also reported the detonation of a booby-trapped vehicle by Israeli forces in eastern Gaza City, with the explosion heard across large parts of the city.
After midnight, Israeli naval forces opened heavy fire toward southern Gaza’s coastline. Israeli military vehicles also fired toward Khan Younis, accompanied by large-scale explosions east of the city.
On Monday evening, four Palestinians, including a child, were killed and others injured in an Israeli airstrike that hit a residential apartment in the al-Nasr neighborhood of western Gaza City.
Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, 2025, Gaza’s Ministry of Health has documented at least 581 fatalities and 1,553 injuries, with 717 bodies recovered from the rubble so far.
Cumulative figures since the start of Israel’s assault on October 7, 2023, indicate that 72,032 Palestinians have been killed and 171,661 injured as a result of ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
