Gaza Herald – Ten Palestinians, including four children, were killed on Wednesday by Israeli forces in multiple attacks across the Gaza Strip, as Israeli violations of the ceasefire continued for the 116th consecutive day, according to local sources.
In eastern Gaza City, Israeli tanks shelled Al-Tuffah neighborhood, striking a residential building belonging to the Haboush family. Four people were killed in the attack, including two children: Ritael Mahmoud Haboush, 13, and Bilal Ashraf Haboush, 16, alongside Yousef Mohammad Haboush, 40, and Ahmad Talaat Haboush, 22.
Three more Palestinians, including a woman and an infant, were killed when Israeli fire hit Al-Zeitoun neighborhood in eastern Gaza City. Local sources identified the victims as Ali Ahmad Salmi, 60; Basina Mohammad Ayyad, 55, and five-month-old Saqr Badr Al-Hatto.
In southern Gaza, Israeli artillery targeted tents and homes in the Qizan Abu Rashwan area south of Khan Younis, killing three Palestinians, including a child. The victims were identified as Mahmoud Ayman Al-Rass, 21, Suleiman Abu Sitta, 28, and his 12-year-old son Farid.
Palestinian health officials said Israeli forces have killed 553 Palestinians since the ceasefire took effect, including 179 children and 69 women, and wounded at least 1,463 others. Since Israel launched its war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, more than 71,803 Palestinians have been killed and over 171,570 wounded, with nearly 90 percent of civilian infrastructure destroyed, a reconstruction cost the United Nations estimates at around $70 billion.
