Gaza Herald – At least 23 Palestinians, including eight children and a paramedic, were killed Wednesday by Israeli forces in eastern Gaza, continuing violations of the ceasefire for the 116th consecutive day.

Local sources reported that Ali Fathi Mustafa Al-Razaina (45) and his daughter Ghada (11) were killed in an artillery strike on a tent in Deir al-Balah, while several others were injured. A staff member at a Médecins Sans Frontières clinic in Fash Farsh, northwest Rafah, was also wounded by indiscriminate Israeli fire during her shift.

Three more were killed in Khan Younis, including paramedic Hussein Al-Smeiri and two children, Rahaf and Rimas Abu Jameh, with twelve others injured when Israeli shells hit tents housing displaced families. Additional strikes in Tel al-Hawa and Khanyunis claimed multiple lives, including infants and adults.

Israeli tanks shelled Tel al-Tuffah, targeting the Haboush family building, killing four, while separate artillery fire struck tents and homes in Qayzan Abu Rashwan, killing three, including a child. Israeli naval forces also fired toward Gaza’s coastline during the day.

Since the October 7, 2023, offensive, Israeli attacks have killed over 71,803 Palestinians and wounded more than 171,570. Ceasefire violations alone have killed 553, including 179 children and 69 women, and injured 1,463, with over 90% of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure destroyed, according to UN estimates.
