Gaza Herald – Israeli forces carried out heavy gunfire, artillery shelling, and demolition operations across multiple areas of Gaza on Thursday, marking a continued escalation and repeated violations of the ceasefire in place since October.
According to field reports, Israeli troops demolished residential buildings in Rafah, while military vehicles opened sustained fire in the city’s northern areas. Israeli attack helicopters also fired machine guns toward northern Rafah, alongside ongoing artillery bombardment.
In Khan Younis, Israeli tanks positioned in eastern areas carried out systematic and intense gunfire, while helicopters directly targeted eastern sections of the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. An Apache helicopter was also reported firing heavily at eastern parts of Gaza City.
The latest attacks underscore the persistence of Israeli ceasefire violations across the Strip, as aerial, ground, and artillery assaults continue to threaten civilian areas despite the formal truce.
