Gaza Herald – Israeli forces continued to violate the ceasefire in Gaza early Wednesday, marking the 109th consecutive day of breaches through airstrikes, artillery fire, and the use of explosive-laden robots across multiple areas of the Strip.
Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes carried out two airstrikes east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, while Israeli military vehicles opened fire north of Gaza City, spreading fear among civilians.
In southern Gaza, Israeli artillery shelled eastern Khan Younis amid heavy gunfire from military vehicles, alongside two additional airstrikes southeast of the city, signaling a sustained pattern of escalation.
Israeli forces also detonated an explosive robot inside Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, a tactic that has increasingly endangered densely populated civilian areas.
Since the ceasefire came into effect, Israeli violations have killed at least 505 Palestinians and wounded more than 1,350 others. Since the start of the genocide in October 2023, over 71,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 171,000 injured, with around 90 percent of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure destroyed, according to UN estimates.
