Gaza Herald – A Palestinian girl was killed, and a man was wounded as Israeli forces carried out airstrikes, drone attacks, artillery shelling, and home demolitions across the Gaza Strip, in continued violations of the ceasefire agreement.
The girl died from wounds sustained days earlier when Israeli fire struck the Mawasi area of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Earlier on Wednesday, an Israeli quadcopter drone dropped an explosive device on a house in eastern Gaza City, wounding a man and setting the building ablaze.
Witnesses reported intense artillery shelling, live fire from armored vehicles, and multiple demolitions of residential buildings in eastern Gaza City, including neighborhoods the Israeli army had previously withdrawn from under the ceasefire terms.
Additional airstrikes and helicopter fire targeted eastern Khan Younis and areas east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza. Since the ceasefire took effect in October, Gaza’s Health Ministry said at least 425 Palestinians have been killed and 1,189 wounded amid repeated Israeli attacks.
