Residential Building Collapses in Gaza, Families Trapped Under Rubble

Gaza Herald – A three-story residential building belonging to the Labad family collapsed in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City, trapping men, women, and children beneath the rubble in what residents described as a terrifying scene in northern Gaza.

Initial reports said at least eight people remained buried inside the destroyed building as Civil Defense and ambulance crews rushed to the area. Rescue teams were forced to work under extremely dangerous conditions, struggling with limited equipment and unstable debris while searching for survivors believed to still be alive.

Local sources said similar building collapses have occurred repeatedly across Gaza in recent months, as homes weakened by repeated Israeli bombardment and structural damage continue to give way, turning civilian neighborhoods into deadly hazards long after the strikes themselves.
