Gaza Herald— The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Saturday that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received the bodies of 13 Palestinians over the past 48 hours, including seven recovered from beneath the rubble, along with 20 injured as a result of ongoing Israeli attacks and repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement.
In its daily statistical report on casualties, the ministry stated that an unknown number of victims remain trapped under destroyed buildings or lying in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews continue to face severe difficulties accessing affected areas.
The ministry reported that since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, 2025, Israeli forces have killed at least 401 Palestinians and injured 1,108 others, while 641 bodies have been recovered from the rubble during this period.
It also noted that 243 additional martyrs were added to the cumulative death toll over the past week after their identities and documentation were officially verified by the competent Martyrs Committee.
According to the ministry, the total number of Palestinians killed since Israel launched its genocidal war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, has now risen to 70,925, with 171,185 people injured, many of them critically. The majority of the victims are women and children, underscoring the devastating human cost of Israel’s ongoing assault on the besieged enclave.
