Gaza Herald – Israeli occupation naval forces abducted four Palestinian fishermen on Sunday afternoon while they were fishing off the coast of Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, in another act of genocide-driven violence against civilians.
According to the Fishermen’s Committees, the abducted fishermen are Abdul Aal Hamada Al-Najjar, Fouad Numan Al-Najjar, Mahmoud Nashat Abu Suleima, and Mohammad Reda Al-Mubasher. Occupation gunboats pursued their vessel, opened fire around it, and seized the fishermen at sea.
Local sources said the fishermen were taken to an unknown location, while Israeli occupation forces deliberately detonated and destroyed their fishing boat after taking control of it, eliminating their only means of livelihood.
The attack is part of the ongoing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, where the Israeli occupation continues to target civilians, restrict livelihoods, and enforce lethal conditions through arrests, destruction, and collective punishment, despite the so-called ceasefire.
