Gaza Herald – An 8-month-old infant, Rahaf Abu Jazr, has died in Khan Younis after her tent was flooded by torrential rain, highlighting the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
Heavy rains also caused the collapse of a three-story home belonging to the Al-Baghdadi family in the Al-Nasr neighborhood, near the Nabil Tammous junction. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Thousands of displaced Palestinians remain exposed to extreme weather in makeshift shelters, struggling for survival as the Israeli occupation continues to block the entry of adequate shelter materials.
Relief agencies warn that without immediate international intervention, more children and families will perish, deepening the ongoing devastation wrought by two years of Israeli occupation-led genocide.
