15 Unidentified Bodies Buried in Gaza, Health Ministry Says

Gaza Herald- The remains of 15 individuals who had been held by the Israeli authorities and were recently released to the relevant authorities in the Gaza Strip were buried on Monday, the Palestinian Health Ministry said.

The 15 bodies belong to unidentified missing persons, the Ministry added.

Israel handed over 330 bodies as part of an exchange deal with the Palestinian resistance. 99 of the remains have been identified, while the rest remain unidentified amid delays by the Israeli authorities in providing information and releasing the names.

The Ministry said its teams are preparing the bodies for handover and burial according to medical protocols.

Human rights and international organizations have called for documenting these violations and pressuring the occupation forces to reveal the fate of the remaining missing persons.
