Israel Escalates Violations of Gaza Ceasefire for the 51st Consecutive Day

Gaza Herald – Israel continued its systematic breaches of the ceasefire on Sunday, marking 51 straight days of air strikes, artillery fire, and home demolitions across the Gaza Strip.

Since dawn, Israeli forces have intensified attacks, firing heavily near the Morag axis north of Rafah and triggering widespread panic among nearby residents.

Warplanes launched multiple strikes across Rafah, flattening residential buildings in a renewed campaign of destruction. Additional waves of air strikes hit al-Shuja’iyya and Tuffah neighborhoods in eastern Gaza City, as well as al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Strip, sending families fleeing through already-devastated streets.

The genocidal war’s toll continues to climb, with 70,100 Palestinians killed and 170,983 injured since October 7, 2023.

Health officials reported 2 killed and 11 wounded in the past 48 hours alone, raising the total since the ceasefire took effect to 354 killed and 906 injured, numbers that expose how the so-called “ceasefire” has been continuously violated.

The Ministry of Health also added 299 additional martyrs whose identities were recently verified by the governmental committee, further underscoring the immense and ongoing human loss from Israel’s two-year genocide on Gaza.
