Gaza Herald – Two Palestinians were killed on Wednesday after Israeli forces shelled the western roundabout area of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza in yet another attack amid the ongoing genocide.
Emergency crews said the killed were struck without warning as families in the area continue to face constant fire despite the declared ceasefire.
Since the ceasefire agreement took effect, Gaza’s Health Ministry says rescue teams have recovered the bodies of 596 Palestinians from beneath the rubble, out of an estimated nearly 10,000 people still buried under destroyed homes and buildings across the Strip.
Officials warn that thousands more remain unrecovered due to Israel’s ongoing bombardment, the collapse of infrastructure, and the near-total lack of heavy equipment needed to dig through the devastation.
