Gaza Herald – Israeli authorities have returned the bodies of 15 Palestinian martyrs to Gaza, just one day after Hamas handed over the remains of an Israeli-American soldier.
Health officials at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis confirmed the transfer and began the process of documentation and identification.
This latest return brings the total number of Palestinian bodies recovered from Israeli custody to 285, many of whom were held for months under harsh conditions and without disclosure to their families, a practice rights groups call a violation of international humanitarian law.
Despite the so-called ceasefire, Israel continues its genocidal campaign, seizing, withholding, and mistreating the bodies of Palestinians, while bombings, demolitions, and displacement persist across the Strip.
