Israeli Drone Strike Kills Civilian in Gaza as Ceasefire Violations Mount

Gaza Herald – An Israeli drone strike killed a Palestinian man in the Shujayea neighborhood east of Gaza City, according to medical staff at al-Ahli Arab Hospital. Bulldozers and tanks later advanced into nearby Zeitoun, demolishing several residential buildings in a new wave of aggression under the so-called ceasefire.

Since the U.S.-brokered truce took effect on October 11, at least 236 Palestinians have been killed and around 600 wounded in continued Israeli attacks, the Gaza Health Ministry confirmed. Rescue crews are still recovering bodies from beneath the rubble of destroyed homes.

The ministry said the overall toll from Israel’s ongoing war and genocide on Gaza has reached 68,858 killed and 170,664 injured, warning that the killed are rising daily as Israel maintains its blockade and near-daily bombardment of the Strip.
