Humanitarian Collapse Deepens in Gaza as Israel Blocks Unconditional Aid Flow

Gaza Herald – The humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to worsen as international agencies demand unrestricted access for life-saving aid, accusing Israel of weaponizing assistance against civilians.

Doctors Without Borders project coordinator Caroline Willeman said Israel is still using aid as a “weapon of war,” with hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians left without clean water or shelter as winter approaches. She warned that severe malnutrition among children and pregnant women is rising, despite a brief lull in attacks under the fragile ceasefire.

According to The Intercept, Hamas has complied with the truce terms, returning all living captives and 15 of 28 deceased Israelis, but faces Israeli restrictions that block recovery teams from retrieving the remaining bodies. Analysts say Israel’s continued obstruction exposes its lack of genuine intent to secure its captives’ return.

Humanitarian organizations warn that Gaza’s population, enduring two years of genocide, remains in dire need of unconditional aid deliveries to prevent further deaths from starvation, exposure, and disease.
