Gaza Herald – The World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed on Wednesday that 421 Palestinians, including 113 children, have died from malnutrition amid Israel’s starvation and genocide campaign in Gaza throughout 2025, warning of a catastrophic collapse in humanitarian conditions.
WHO said the deaths reflect an unprecedented deterioration in Gaza’s health situation, caused by severe shortages of food and medical care. Children remain the most affected, trapped under Israel’s blockade and restrictions on aid access.
The organization urged urgent international intervention to deliver food and medical supplies to civilians, warning that more deaths are inevitable if the siege continues.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel, backed by the United States and European allies, has waged a systematic campaign of genocide marked by mass killings, starvation, displacement, and destruction that has left over 239,000 Palestinians killed or injured, thousands missing, and entire cities erased from the map.
