Over 70,000 Gazans with Hepatitis C Need Urgent Treatment Abroad

Gaza Herald – More than 70,000 Palestinians in Gaza are battling hepatitis C and urgently need treatment outside the besieged Strip, according to medical officials at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

Doctors warn that the continued blockade and collapse of Gaza’s health system are accelerating the spread of deadly epidemics.

Health authorities are calling for the immediate reopening of crossings to allow medical evacuations, as Israel’s genocidal siege has left hospitals crippled, medicine scarce, and thousands at risk of preventable death.
