Gaza Herald – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced plans to bury 41 unidentified bodies of Palestinian prisoners recovered from Israeli custody under the recent prisoner exchange deal.
The remains, bearing clear signs of abuse and neglect, will be laid to rest in a mass grave inside the Strip, after forensic teams failed to identify them due to severe decomposition.
This comes as part of the ongoing exchange process between Palestinian resistance factions and Israel, following months of Israel’s genocidal campaign that left tens of thousands killed and missing.
Health officials say many of the retrieved bodies were detained, mutilated, or held in cold storage for months, further exposing Israel’s systemic violations of international humanitarian law.
