Density of Explosives in Gaza, 58 Bombs Per Kilometer

Gaza Herald – Civil defense teams warn that Gaza has become one of the most heavily contaminated areas on earth, with an average of 58 unexploded bombs per square kilometer left behind by Israel’s relentless bombardment.

This massive concentration of lethal ordnance poses an extreme danger to civilians and has paralyzed recovery efforts across the devastated enclave.

Rescue operations remain slow and perilous, as teams navigate fields of hidden explosives while searching for bodies still buried beneath the rubble.

Officials say the contamination is also obstructing Israel’s own search for its captives, exposing the catastrophic aftermath of a campaign that has turned Gaza into a graveyard filled with undetonated kill.
