Israel’s Daily Campaign Ravages Gaza’s Farms

Gaza Herald – The Government Media Office warns that Israel’s genocidal campaign is systematically annihilating Gaza’s agricultural base: 240 dunums of farmland are razed every day, along with one agricultural well and one cattle or poultry farm, producing a crippling economic hit estimated at $96 million in losses each day.

The sustained destruction of land, water sources, and livestock is not collateral damage; it’s a deliberate assault on food systems and livelihoods that deepens famine and civilian suffering across the Strip.

The toll is immediate and long-term: fields are turned to scorched earth, irrigation and drinking wells are rendered useless, and entire farm families are stripped of their means to survive.

As the genocide grinds on, Gaza’s ability to feed itself and to rebuild agricultural capacity is being erased day by day, amplifying the humanitarian catastrophe and the urgency for international intervention to protect food systems, restore water access, and halt this intentional devastation.
