Gaza Herald – Israeli warplanes launched a new wave of attacks on Monday, striking Al-Nasr and Tal al-Hawa neighborhoods and heavily shelling Al-Jalaa Street in Gaza City. The assault comes as Gaza’s Government Media Office reports staggering new figures, at least 76,600 Palestinians have been killed since the beginning of Israel’s genocidal war.
In its latest statement, the media office confirmed that 9,500 people remain missing, many believed to be trapped beneath rubble or forcibly disappeared. It added that 90% of Gaza’s infrastructure has been destroyed, transforming much of the enclave into an unrecognizable wasteland.
The statement further revealed that Israeli forces have seized control of over 80% of Gaza’s territory through invasion, bombardment, and mass displacement. More than 200,000 tons of explosives were dropped across the Strip.
