Israel Bombards Gaza Every 8 Minutes, UN Says

Gaza Herald – Israeli warplanes are pounding the besieged enclave with terrifying frequency, one air strike every eight to nine minutes, according to the United Nations.

UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric confirmed that the past 24 hours have brought a surge of Israeli attacks with “devastating consequences for civilians,” forcing more than 16,500 Palestinians to flee from northern Gaza to the south in a single day.

Aid workers stationed along so-called “displacement routes” say families are running from bombs only to find more killing and destruction waiting for them.

With skies dominated by constant Israeli firepower, and the ground littered with the ruins of homes, Gaza has been reduced to a slaughterhouse where no one is safe, not even the children fleeing through the paths the occupier itself declared as “safe.”
