Dozens Buried Alive as Israeli Air Raids Devastate Gaza City

Gaza Herald- Gaza City is once again engulfed in flames and despair as Israeli forces escalate their assault, pounding residential neighborhoods with relentless air raids and ground operations. The scale of destruction has reached alarming levels, leaving civilians trapped beneath the ruins of their homes while the world watches in silence.

From the central town of Nuseirat, massive plumes of smoke rise over Gaza City, particularly from the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood and the overcrowded Shati refugee camp. Witnesses reported that three homes in Shati were reduced to rubble by Israeli strikes, with dozens of people feared buried alive. Civil Defence crews remain unable to recover bodies due to the constant bombardment, leaving families in agony and uncertainty.

The military escalation is intensifying hour by hour. Israeli forces are advancing cautiously through the city, shielded by heavy artillery, drones, fighter jets, and quadcopters that rain destruction on every corner. The city’s residents, already displaced multiple times, remain trapped in an inescapable cycle of terror.

Many Palestinians in Gaza City are unable to flee. With no money for transportation and nowhere to seek refuge in the already overcrowded south, they are forced to remain under fire, living in constant fear of becoming the next victims.

This nightmarish reality underscores the gravity of Israel’s campaign: not only a military assault, but a systematic effort to uproot and erase life in Gaza City. The deepening crisis leaves one urgent question hanging in the air—how much longer will the world allow Gaza to burn before decisive action is taken to halt the bloodshed?
